Lydia joined STEM From Dance in 2022, where she learned how to code animations that played in the background of her cohort's dance performance. After that experience, she was inspired to challenge herself by taking more computer science courses at school. “I wanted to learn more about being able to code different things, not just simple things. I’m taking CS in school, so I can do that now.” Lydia is a very active student - she does theater, plays volleyball, and excels in math, one of her favorite subjects. Now, because of our programming, she can add coding to her list of activities.
