You represent and warrant that you have the right and authority to provide any information provided by you. Through requesting active user consent, STEM From Dance may also collect certain non-personally identifiable information in connection with the operation of the Service, including IP addresses, browser or operating system information, data on advertisements or links on which you click, and the websites that you visit before or after you visit the Service. STEM From Dance will obtain consent explicitly from users through clear affirmative acts. Such information and consent records are maintained by STEM From Dance or service providers acting on behalf of others. STEM From Dance and its service providers also automatically collect information about your interactions with the Service through cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies, as described in Section 6 (Cookies, Pixels, and Tracking Technologies) and Section 7 (Advertising and Retargeting) below.
3. Protection of Your Information
To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, maintain data accuracy and facilitate the appropriate use of information, STEM From Dance uses physical, technological and administrative procedures to attempt to protect the personally identifiable information we collect through the Service. STEM From Dance takes these extensive measures to secure users’ data. Nevertheless, Internet transmissions are never completely private or secure. You understand that any messages or information you send to the Service may be read or intercepted by others, and users of the Service may be able to view your information. If you have any questions about the security of personally identifiable information collected by STEM From Dance, please contact us at [email protected].

Also, if the security of user data is put at risk, then STEM From Dance will inform the affected or potentially affected users about the personal data breach within 72 hours.
4. Use of Your Personally Identifiable Information
If you sign up for our email newsletters, we may collect your name, email address, and browser and device information.
We may store details of users’ visits, such as pages visited, browser details, and interactions with any emails that we send to users. This information may include Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, the files viewed on our site (e.g., HTML pages, graphics, etc.), operating system, date/time stamp, and/or clickstream data to analyze trends in the aggregate and administer the site.
We may collect information about the computers, phones, or other devices where users access or install our Services, depending on the permissions each user has granted. This information may include the following: attributes such as the operating system, hardware version, device settings, file and software names and types, battery and signal strength, device identifiers; device locations, including specific geographic locations, such as through GPS, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi signals; connection information, such as the name of the mobile operator or ISP, browser type, language and time zone, mobile phone number, mobile ad ID, and IP address.
Upon our collection of your personally identifiable information, STEM From Dance may use such personally identifiable information internally, separately or in combination with pre-existing information, for the following purposes:
- To provide any requested information, products or services;
- To enhance user experience;
- For internal aggregation purposes;
- To troubleshoot problems with the Service;
- To customize your experience on the Service;
- To enforce our Terms of Service or compliance with this Privacy Policy; or
- To contact you with more information about STEM From Dance and its products or services;
- To market and advertise our programs and services, including delivering retargeted advertisements to you on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) and other third-party websites and apps, and measuring the performance of those advertisements;
Personally identifiable information collected on the Service may be stored and processed in the United States, Canada or abroad.
5. Disclosure of Your Information
We may disclose your personally identifiable information to our subsidiaries or affiliates and to third-party partners whom we occasionally hire to provide services on our behalf, including support services, website services, delivery of promotional materials, the answering of customer questions about our services, and new services. STEM From Dance will only provide those third-party partners with the personally identifiable information they need to deliver the services to us and/or on our behalf, and they will be contractually prohibited from using that information for any other purpose. One such company that we use to provide us with support services is Hubspot. You can find out more about them at www.hubspot.com and their privacy policy is found at https://legal.hubspot.com/priv....
We also share certain information with Meta Platforms, Inc. ("Meta") to operate advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. This sharing occurs in two ways: (i) through the Meta Pixel installed on our website, which transmits information about your visit (such as the pages you view, buttons you click, your IP address, browser type, and certain events) directly from your browser to Meta; and (ii) through the Meta Conversions API, which transmits similar information from our servers to Meta, including hashed identifiers such as your email address that Meta uses to match activity to a Meta account. We use this data to measure the performance of our advertising and to deliver retargeted advertisements to people who have visited our website. Meta’s use of this information is governed by Meta’s Privacy Policy, available at https://www.facebook.com/priva....
In the event that STEM From Dance is involved in a transaction such as a merger, stock purchase or sale, or sale of substantially all of STEM From Dance assets, your personal information may be transferred to the other party in such transaction.
STEM From Dance reserves the right to disclose your personally identifiable information if required to do so by law or legal process or otherwise requested by any law enforcement officer or agency acting under color of law. In addition, STEM From Dance reserves the right to disclose your personally identifiable information based on the good faith belief that such action is necessary or appropriate to do the following: (a) protect and defend the rights or property of STEM From Dance, or (b) act in urgent circumstances to protect the safety or security of the public or of users of STEM From Dance products and the Service.
6. Cookies, Pixels, and Tracking Technologies
STEM From Dance and our service providers use cookies, web beacons, pixels, software development kits (SDKs), and similar technologies (collectively, "Tracking Technologies") to collect and store information when you visit the Service. Cookies are small data files stored on your device; we use both session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which remain on your device for a set period).
We use the following categories of Tracking Technologies:
Strictly necessary — required for the Service to function properly;
Analytics — to understand how visitors find and use the Service so we can improve it;
Advertising — to deliver and measure advertisements, including the Meta Pixel and similar tools from our advertising partners.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies; however, doing so may affect the functionality of the Service. We currently do not respond to "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signals because no common industry standard has been adopted for those signals. We do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as described in Section 9 below.
7. Advertising and Retargeting
We work with Meta Platforms, Inc. and other advertising partners to deliver advertisements about STEM From Dance on Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms, including to people who have previously visited our website. To do this, we use the following tools:
Meta Pixel — a snippet of code on our website that automatically transmits information about your visit to Meta, including your IP address, browser information, the pages you view, and certain actions you take on the Service.
Meta Conversions API (CAPI) — a server-to-server connection that transmits similar information from our servers directly to Meta. The information transmitted may include hashed personal identifiers (such as an email address you provided to us when subscribing to our newsletter or making a donation) that Meta uses to match your activity to your Meta account for advertising and measurement purposes.
Custom Audiences and Lookalike Audiences — from time to time we may upload hashed contact lists (such as email addresses of newsletter subscribers or donors) to Meta so that Meta can display our ads to those people on Facebook and Instagram, and so we can reach new audiences of users with similar characteristics.
Meta uses the information we share with it to deliver targeted advertising, measure ad performance, and improve Meta’s advertising services. Meta’s collection and use of this information is governed by Meta’s Privacy Policy, available at https://www.facebook.com/priva.... We do not control Meta’s practices and we encourage you to review Meta’s policy directly.
8. Your Choices and Opt-Out Rights
You have several options to limit the information we and our advertising partners collect about you:
Meta ad settings: You can adjust how Meta uses your information for advertising in your Facebook ad preferences (https://www.facebook.com/adpre...) and Instagram settings (https://help.instagram.com/141...). You can also opt out of seeing certain ads or hide ads from specific advertisers directly on Facebook and Instagram.
Industry opt-out tools: You can opt out of interest-based advertising from many participating companies (including Meta) through the Digital Advertising Alliance at https://optout.aboutads.info and the Network Advertising Initiative at https://optout.networkadvertis....
Browser controls: Most browsers allow you to block third-party cookies, clear existing cookies, or use a private/incognito browsing mode through their settings.
Mobile devices: iOS and Android devices include settings to limit advertising tracking. On iOS, see "Allow Apps to Request to Track" and "Personalized Ads." On Android, see the "Ads" section of your device settings to reset or delete your advertising ID.
Email unsubscribe: You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email or by contacting us at [email protected].
9. Your Rights as a California Resident
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"), provides you with the following rights regarding your personal information:
Right to know what categories of personal information we have collected, the sources of that information, the purposes for which we use it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it;
Right to access a copy of the specific pieces of personal information we have collected from you;
Right to delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions;
Right to correct inaccurate personal information;
Right to opt out of the "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Our use of the Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API, and similar tools may constitute "sharing" under the CPRA. You may opt out by emailing us at [email protected] with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information," or by enabling the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser, which we treat as a valid opt-out request when received from a California resident;
Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. We do not knowingly sell personal information in exchange for money. We have not sold or shared the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy and Contact Information
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the "effective" date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through a notice on the Service. If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or our privacy practices, please contact us at [email protected].
